Camping Park Pizarra is situated on a newly registered family run campsite set in the La Serrana Hills of Pizarra, in the Heart of the Andalusian Guadalhorce Valley, just above Malaga City. The Park comprises of 60 camping plots in total some of which offer privacy and large terrace/decking space.
Site facilities include: Reception, Cafe Bar TT (themed on the Isle of Man TT motorcycle racing), swimming pool open from May to September, large shower block, outdoor washing up sinks.
Transport is necessary as the camping is 5 mins drive from the picturesque villages of Alora and Pizarra. The site is ideally located for those wishing to get out and explore the local area including.... walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The site owners Tony and Tracey are keen motorcyclists and offer a moto friendly site to people from all walks of life. We cater for tents, all types of caravans, 5th wheelers, motorhomes. We also have a limited number of large spacious plots for the longer stay holiday maker.
Note: The site operates a low noise policy due to our scenic location.

Pizarra is a wonderful traditional Spanish village, located in the province of Malaga, in the community of Andalucia. The village boasts all the facilities needed locally, including, but not limited too numerous shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a medical centre. A statue of Jesus known locally as "El Santo" overlooks the village from the mountain top protecting its people.
Another tourist attraction is the beautiful route from Pizarra through Alora to the scenic lakes of Ardales Natural Park and the El Chorro Gorge which was used in the final scenes of the classic Sinatra film "Von Ryans Express". The gorge is famous for the "Caminito del Rey", a cliffside walk which has just been refurbished.
A fabulous public service to Malaga and the coast is available with the use of the Pizarra train station; there is also a local bus and taxi service. Pizarra celebrates many religious events throughout the year with a colourful week long Feria celebration in August.
Camping Park Pizarra is located in the countryside between Alora and Pizarra just over 1km off the A7077/A6117 just before km2 where the site is signposted from the turnoff with camping signs. The site is 1400 metres from the turnoff, just follow the signs.
